BW under a new guise. Keeping true to the Nike Sportswear design philosophy, aesthetics and performance are joined together as the
Air Max
BW Gen II features an all new material known as Torch.The design team at Nike has been hard at work trying to improve on their old models and in doing so materials are key. You may have noticed a diamond shaped material being used in the upper of the new Air Max BW Gen II models but aside from pure aesthetics is a pretty remarkable invention named Torch.
The first colorway places Sport Red hits on the
Air Max window surround and heel Torch panel, as well as on the liner and laces. A Dark Grey Swoosh contrasts against the Torch, suede and leather build of the upper. The other colorway pits Liquid Lime and white against an Obsidian upper. Leather, suede and Torch are implemented on the upper, as well.
The shoe itself was designed around next summer’s World Cup and world class soccer players helped to design these for pre- and post-match wear. Keep an eye out for these early- to mid-next year.
