The Air Jordan 3 (III) Retro White/Dark Mocha were released in 2001 and retailed for $100. Although not as popular as the black / cement grey or the true blue colorways, these still sold very well. The Air Jordan Retro 3 (III) Mocha did not hit well with sneaker heads, and actually hit outlets. First time release for the Air Jordan Retro 3 Mocha was September 15th 2001, amongst other Air Jordan Retro III. In terms of being the first, the Air Jordan III (3) can’t claim that title. But in terms of how the ethos behind the Air Jordan franchise came about, the AJ3 had a huge part of it.They feature a white leather upper with brown elephant skin, which is hard to see unless you are up close, as the brown colorway is very dark.
